Stopped here for late night drinks. Nice casual vibe. Friendly staff.

We got in on a late flight to New Orleans, and this place was our introduction to the city. It was perfect. Stiff drinks, fresh po boys, and friendly staff. We’ll come back when we come back someday!

Pretty good place to hang out / watch a game. Open to outdoors but still nice on a rainy evening. Food was excellent as far as bar food goes. Good service.

Stop in on a Friday afternoon. Good beer selection & surprisingly excellent whiskey selection. Friendly bartender. Adequate TVs. The watermelon BBQ wings were amazing!!

Bar food that is reasonably priced and tasty. The customers were super friendly not so much the bar tender, She kinda made us not feel welcomed, so based on the way we were treated I will not return.

Welcoming casual spot with good food and an amazing selection of beers on tap. Just adding (9 months later) that the staff, and the one young woman who help me investigate the mud bug ritual, were fabulous.

Great old neighborhood bar that's been in the area for over 70 years. Friendly, attentive bartenders who'll remember you, and great music on the sound system. I couldn't put together a better Pandora mix. Food, shuffleboard, any game you want to watch...this place caters to a surprisingly wide variety of patrons. Highly recommended.

Great local bar in the bywater, don't live there so very infrequent visits. Kitchen usually good with bar food at good price. Kitchen being "renovated". Bartenders are friendly and fast

Great local sports/dive-ish bar/ New Orleans institution. Tons of TVs for games. Crawfish boils on Fri and Sun (seasonal), darts, shuffleboard, outdoor seating. Bartenders are great!! Friendly local crowd with some out-of-towners mixed in. Poker machines, so no kiddos allowed inside. Regular kitchen will be opening up again soon.

Great local bar with darts, video slots, shuffleboard, and a kitchen (possibly being renovated?). Excellent place to watch a game or get a drink, inside or outside. 15+ clean taps with a variety of local and other brews.Occasionally it's proximity to Country Club means you get some loud, obnoxious Bachelorette parties, but they don't tend to stay for too long if they do invade.

Wow, drink prices sure have gone up since I've been here last. And with the kitchen closed, and lack of a local crowd, I don't see much of a reason to return. Sad, because it used to be a great local bar. But there are plenty of TV's if you just want to catch a game....

This is one of my favorite places to go on this side of town. The food is good and the drinks be flowing. Jordan is an awesome human, shut out with so much love.

Still an excellent neighborhood bar it's changed just a little bit prices are a little higher but it's a great place if you like sports a lot of coverage

Great drinks and good bar food

Visiting from Austin and an old friend who lived in New Orleans for a long time told me to come to one of her favorite bars, Markey’s! It was exactly what we needed after a quick evening flight from TX. We just wanted a laidback spot to watch basketball and eat bar food. Bartenders were both so friendly and kind. Loved it!
